My Desk

Oh Home Sweet Home:
This is my desk today around noon when I left for court. I think my mess at work is worse than a lot of what I would end up with for school. Though I do have to admit, I'd rather have a challenging job than something monotonous day in and day out.
I had another attorney talk to me today in court and tell me to go to Med School. Isn't it a bit late for that?? And this particular attorney was also talking about his daughter going to law school this upcoming year... don't you talk her out of it? I mean, if you think its so bad, then you would think it would be portrayed in your behavior at home... and obvioulsy its nto that bad if your kid wants to do it. Unless you produced a lemming.
I know quite a few.

A Great Weekend

We had a great day today. Lots of the time its not what you're doing, but who you're doing it with. Today, while Joe tried hard to get the little mini grill to work and heat up so we could have dinner, I fixed the flower bed and planted the flowers we got yesterday. It was so nice to be able to eat together and enjoy the new flower bed.
Sometimes, even the stuff you don't want to do can be nice. We also spent like 3 hours cleaning our entire apartment. Joe even moved the couch out to clean behind it, and I washed out all of my makeup brushes. It was a serious whole house clean. And who likes to do that??? no one. But it was nice to have someone to do it with, and we kept it up, did a great job and did it together.
All in all... a very nice day to have.

bathroom stall grafitti

I don't know how many people know this about me, but I adore bathroom graffiti and find it really interesting and sometimes very beautiful.
I have no idea of the caliber of the scrawls on Men's bathroom walls, I guess I may have to check it out, but there is a distinct phenomenon that I'm noticed in the Woman's restrooms.
Inside the stall: Women are alone and can write whatever they want. They allow their insecurities to rein and take over. Things in the stalls are usually "I had sex with your boyfriend Molly! FU: Kate" or "fat bitches, stop eating, you're disgusting!"... you get the gist. They are negitive, very hurtful and usually personally aimed at someone or some group.
Outside the stall: These are very different. Its rare to find a posting about someone's pubic hair, legnth of someone's penis, infidelities, etc. What you find on the outside is chipper and very surface. "Nursing School 2008!!" "Jack and Sara 4eva" "Love yourself for who you are and don't look back." These are very general and light hearted.

The psychology of it really intrigues me. Its so fitting for how many girls are. On the outside where others can see, being positive and bubbly and surfacy, but in privacy, grabbing that random pen in their purse and scrawling something hurtful while preforming one of the most personal of acts.

On this photo: I decided to take this photo and post it because it is one of the super rare ones. It includes God, but then a derogatary comment. So strange for bathroom posts... and it was found on the outside.

OMG! Girls, this post is for you!

Check it out and get $5 to spend!

Hi guys!!! Hopefully the inner tech in me can figure out how to just have this link at the top of my page all the time. This website....redtagcrazy.com, is my new obsession, and it should be yours too! I literately was lying in bed last night at 2am with my Blackberry refreshing the site to see what would come up next. Its THAT good (and I'm that obsessed with my phone, I know) Here's the skinny (I'm talkin' jeans):
- great great brands of shirts (linQ, ZLush, Aude, C & C, Ed Hardy, BCBG, Zooey,Elementals ...)
... its not just shirts though... there are dresses included with these great brands!!!
- jeans jeans jeans (Paige, Rich & Skinny, Joe, Aristocrat, J brand, Lucky, DVB...)

- Amazing deals!!! For example... I boguht a pair of GREAT dark wash Joe's jeans that retail for $200. My price? $60. Do you know how wonderful that is!? You can't even find that on EBAY USED!!!
- a chat section below the running posts that is second to none. There are always great knowledgeable Women to talk to about everything, from whats up for sale and how it fits (many have posted pictures with the items ON so you can see them, and get an HONEST opinion) to help with how to get a bad stain out of something
- a return policy on most things if you try them on and they don't fit.... which is awesome! ( you know, as long as you don't wear it out to the bar and then try to return it!)

I just can't say enough about this site and the great deals. A word to the wise though... if you see something you like and its in your size, jump on it!!! The only downfall is once things are gone, they are gone for good. But that's half the fun, isn't it??

So... grab your credit card and click on the link above!!! If you do, then you'll get $5 off your first purchase! (if thiings are offered cheap enough already!)

The best thing to do after you take a final, after you havne't slept, after everything has been ripping at the seams... is to go ride a horse and go run in a big field with dogs. Animals seem to heal all.
